Corbin Connell enters his second season on the Chargers’ sideline in 2019, working with the defensive linemen.
Prior to arriving in West Haven, Connell served two seasons as the outside linebacker’s coach at Amherst College, assisting with game planning, opponent breakdowns, and strength and conditioning during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
Connell earned his bachelor’s in sociology, with a minor in criminal justice from the University at Albany in 2015. A defensive lineman and long snapper for the Great Danes, Connell was a member of the 2011 and 2012 teams that captured the Northeast Conference championship title. Connell served a game captain for two games during the 2014 season and was a member of the university’s Leadership Council.
