Holman Copeland joined the Charger Football coaching staff in the summer of 2010. Drawing off his college experience, Copeland will help coach the UNH secondary.
Most recently at Harry S. Truman High School in Levittown, Pennsylvania, Copeland served as Defensive Coordinator. He also coached the secondary and running backs for the Tigers.
Prior to his coaching career kicked off in 2007, Copeland earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Sport Management from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. As a member of the Golden Eagles football team, Copeland was a two-year letterwinner at safety.
After graduating from Clarion, Copeland went to East Stroudsburg University as a graduate assistant coach. From 2007 to 2009 Copeland was a member of the ESU football program and served as a secondary coach. He also managed the game film exchange program and served as the assistant video coordinator for the Warriors.
While at East Stroudsburg, Copeland earned his Master of Science degree in Sport Management.
