John Badyna enters his first season as the Director of Football Operations in 2019. Badyna was a five-year member of the Chargers as a tight end from 2014-2018.

During his career, he was a two-time All-Northeast-10 Conference honoree, earning Second Team honors in 2016 and First Team laurels in 2018. He was also one of five players to be named to the Don Hansen Football Gazette All-Super Region 1 Team, earning a spot on the Third Team in 2018. He finished his career with 56 pass receptions for 439 yards and eight touchdowns.
