A true jack-of-all-trades, Josh Zamot enters the 2026 season serving as the co-special teams coordinator, recruiting coordinator and wide receivers coach for New Haven Football.

Zamot joined the Blue & Gold in March 2025 as the wide receivers coach. In his first season with the position group, Zamot oversaw the development of the NEC’s leading receiver, Kevonne Wilder, and third-leading receiver, Josh Tracey, in 2025.

A quarterback who transitioned to wide receiver following a transfer, Zamot spent four seasons at quarterback for Stony Brook University before graduating in May 2022 with a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies. After making the move to wide receiver, Zamot recorded career highs in receptions (19), receiving yards (271) and touchdowns (two) during the 2024 season.

Zamot remained in the Blue & Gold after his playing career, earning his M.S. in Sport Management from the University of New Haven in 2024.
