Ryan Audet

Ryan Audet has completed one season as the wide receivers coach on the University of New Haven football staff.

The 2012 campaign was another standout season for the Chargers’ receiving corps as a part of one of the top scoring offenses in the nation. Most notably, Jason Thompson hauled in 16 touchdowns en route to All-America honors and was later signed as a free agent by the Washington Redskins.

Prior to joining Coach Rossomando’s staff, Audet led Fair Haven Union High School to the 2011 Vermont Division II State Championship. The Slaters were also the highest scoring offense in the division in that season.

A Fair Haven, Vt. native, Audet brings over 11 years of coaching experience to New Haven with experience coaching running backs, wide receivers and the offensive line. In his first head coaching experience, Audet was named the 2010 Vermont Division II Coach of the Year after leading Fair Haven Union to the state semifinals.

Between two stints in the scholastic ranks, he spent a pair of seasons as an assistant coach at Castleton (Vt.) State College. Audet also coached wide receivers at Alfred (N.Y.) University from 2001-03 while pursuing his Master's in Business Administration.

A 2001 graduate of Saint Lawrence University, Audet currently resides in Monroe, Conn.
