Mark Palmieri

A former team captain for New Haven men’s basketball, Mark Palmieri ’13 will be the top assistant coach for Ted Hotaling in the 2016-17 campaign. 

Palmieri’s coaching career began during the 2013-14 season when he served as a graduate assistant coach and basketball analytics coordinator with the Chargers.
 
In addition to on-court instruction at practices and on game day, Palmieri is a key contributor the Chargers’ recruiting and scouting efforts.

A 2013 graduate of the University with a degree in the Management of Sports Industries, Palmieri appeared in 52 games in his career, including 26 as a senior co-captain. He was a Dean’s List student and a member of the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in each of his undergraduate semesters. Palmieri also holds a Master of Business Administration from New Haven.
