Mingming Liu joined Ted Hotaling’s staff as a graduate assistant in May of 2013 and enters his first official season with the Chargers in 2013-14. Liu coordinates the filming of team practices and games and assists the coaching staff both on the court and in the office.
 
A 2006 graduate of the Wuhan Institute of Physical Education, Liu is pursuing a Master’s Degree in the Management of Sports Industries at the University. He previously served as a physical education teacher and basketball coach at the high school level in his home city of Dalian, China.
