Ray Anczelowicz enters his first season as a student assistant for the men's basketball team.
Anczelowicz currently manages and promotes Gotham Hoops Scouting Service, which he launched as a high school sophomore. As the owner and head scout of Gotham Hoops Scouting, Anczelowicz composes in-depth player profiles, one-on-one interviews and highlight reels which he posts to GothamHoops.com. The initiative of the scouting service is dedicated to increasing the visibility of the New York City area boy’s high school players with the college coaching and recruiting community.
Anczelowicz also has experience writing and coaching. He wrote for LongIslandBasketball.com and NYHoops.com and was the team sponsor and coach for Team Gotham Hoops in the Nike I.S. 8 Basketball Tournament in New York, N.Y. He also served as a media analyst for the Hoop Group Elite Camp. Anczelowicz played junior varsity and varsity basketball for Seaford High School from 2007 to 2011 as well and served as the team captain in 2008. He is currently a freshman at New Haven and majoring in Sports Management.
