Joel Booker was added to Roy Fink’s staff beginning in the 2012 season. He assists in all aspects of the men's soccer program.
Most recently an assistant coach at New England College in Henniker, N.H., Booker comes to New Haven with coaching experience at a number of different levels. For the last two seasons, he has been on the sidelines at NEC as both an assistant and a graduate assistant. His duties included recruiting, retention and academics, practices and in-game coaching. Booker has also served as a coach at the White Mountain Soccer Academy in Warner, N.H.
Booker earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from New England College in Business Administration, while earning his Master of Science in Sport and Recreation Management from his alma mater in 2011. As an undergraduate, he was a two-sport athlete for the Pilgrims, playing soccer and basketball.
