Brittany McNulla enters her second year as a graduate assistant on Jen Starek’s coaching staff in 2020. In her first season in 2019, McNulla helped coach the Chargers to the semifinal round of the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament and an appearance in the NCAA East Region Championship Tournament.
Prior to arriving at New Haven, McNulla was a member of the softball teams at the University of Virginia and Central Connecticut State. McNulla started all 51 games she played in as a freshman at UVA in 2015. She then started in 129 games from the 2016-2018 seasons at CCSU, leading the team with 40 hits, 32 RBI and a .325 batting average in 2017.
McNulla also has prior coaching experience with the East Coast Firecrackers travel team from 2015-2018.
McNulla graduated from CCSU in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a three-time Traveler’s All-Academic Team member. She is currently pursuing her MBA at New Haven.
