Gabby Cruz ’10 enters her second season as assistant coach for the Chargers in 2015. As a student-athlete at New Haven, Cruz was a four-year letterwinner for the Chargers during one of the most successful spans in program history.
Cruz appeared in 128 career games for the Chargers, including 115 starts. She hit five home runs and 12 doubles, amassing 33 runs batted in while splitting time between first and third base from 2007-10. Cruz was a member of three NCAA postseason qualifiers, including the 2010 squad that reached the East Super Regional for the first time in program history.
