Andrea Harmon

A certified, licensed Athletic Trainer, Andrea Harmon begins her third year as the Director of Sports Medicine for New Haven in 2018-19.  She will oversee the sports medicine program while providing coverage for the Chargers football and cross country and track and field teams. 
 
Previously, Harmon worked with the football, cross country & track & field teams at Bucknell University in Lewisburg Pa.  She then went on to be the assistant athletic trainer for Louisiana College, where she also taught in the CAATE Accredited Athletic Training Program until 2010.
 
From 2010-2013 Andrea served as an outreach athletic trainer for the Pennsylvania College of Technology, where she was a part of the institution’s transition into the NCAA.  In 2013, she returned to her Alma Mater at Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and served as the Head Athletic Trainer, overseeing the healthcare for 18 NCAA DI & DII sports teams and served as a preceptor for the undergraduate athletic training students.
 
Harmon completed her BS in Health Science from Lock Haven University in 2005 before earning her MS in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaii, Manoa in 2007.  She is currently working toward her PhD in Sports Management through Northcentral University.
