Chris Leary begins his second year as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Chargers. Leary will serve as the primary trainer for the softball team while assisting with football and women’s basketball coverage. While at New Haven, he will pursue a Master’s in Healthcare Administration.

A 2016 graduate from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Leary worked with the Baseball, men’s and women’s basketball and men’s lacrosse teams while an undergraduate. During the fall of 2015, he also worked as a student trainer with the Cornell football team.

Additionally, Leary has volunteered as a member of the medical staff rot he Empire State Senior Games in June 2014 and 2015 as well as volunteering with the United Way Triathlon in October 2013 and 2014.
