Lauren Moore

Lauren Moore starts her second season with the University of New Haven women's basketball program in 2011-12. Head coach Jessica Smith announce Moore as the assistant coach on August 2, 2010.

Most recently an assistant at the University of New Hampshire, Moore brings over six years of basketball experience to New Haven. During her two seasons at New Hampshire (2008-10), she assisted in all aspects of the program, including player development, recruiting, fundraising, scouting, academics, travel and summer camps.

Prior to arriving at the University of New Hampshire, Moore spent one season as an assistant at Northeast-10 Conference opponent, Southern New Hampshire University. She also spent time at the Northeast-10 Conference office in 2007 as an intern and worked with AAU basketball from 2003-06.

An All-Northeast-10 Conference selection at Bentley University, Moore was a team captain as a senior and was an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. As a Bronco at Alvirne High School, Moore was twice named New Hampshire Gatorade Player of the Year.

Moore earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University in 2007. She is currently finishing her Masters in Sport Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
