2012: Cross Country: Finished 33rd overall at the Trinity Invitational (4K) on Sept. 8…Posted a time of 21:50 at the Fr. Leeber, S.J. Invitational (5K) on Sept. 22…Placed 131st of 281 runners with a time of 26:55 at the Paul Short Run (6K) on Sept. 28…Posted a time of 21:00.68 at the New England Championship (5K) on Oct. 7…Finished in 22:27.3 at the Northeast-10 Championship (5K) on Oct. 20…Posted a time of 25:44.9 at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship (6K) on Nov. 4.

2011-2012 Season: Part of the team named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team…Cross Country: Started the season with a 35^th place finish at the Central Connecticut State Blue Devil Invitational…Also collected a 25^th place finish at the Father O’Neil S.J. Invitational with a time of 22:41. Indoor Track: At the Yale Invitational, finished 23^rd with a time of 2:39.36 in the 800m run…Finished 10^th at the Giengengack Invitational in the 800m run with a time of 2:39.62…At the Yale Season Opener, finished 13^th in the mile run with a time of 6:16.51. Outdoor Track: At the Northeast-10 Outdoor Championship,  part of the team that collected an eighth place finish in the 4x800m relay with a time of 10:13.11 and posted a 16^th place finish in the 800m dash with a  time of 2:31.82…At the New England Championships tallied a 17^th place finish in the 4x800m relay with a time of 10:11.11.

2010-2011 Season: Cross Country: Ran a season best 21:23.00 to finish 19th overall at the Fairfield University Invitational. Indoor Track: Finished fourth overall in the 1000m run in 3:27.41 at the Fairfield University Invitational…Placed fourth overall in the 3000m run with a time of 11:57.25 at the SCSU Alumni Invitational. Outdoor Track: Finished 20th overall in the 1500m run with a time of 5:25.20 at the Coast Guard Academy Invitational…Placed 18th overall in the 800m run in 2:44.21 at the Springfield College Invitational.

2009-2010 Season: Cross Country: Ran a season best 16:52:00 at the Fairfield University Invitational. Indoor Track: Ran a season best in the 1000m finishing in 3:21.96 at the Yale Giegengack Invitational…Also ran the 1 mile run in 5:55.89 at the URI Sorlein Invitational. Outdoor Track: Ran season best in the 1500m finishing in 5:16.58 at the George Davis Invitational.

High School: Attended Kearny High School in New Jersey...Named to the All-Hudson County team and was a Hudson County Champion in the mile with a best time of 5:30.

Personal: Daughter of Miguel and Gorette Bernardino...Has one brother, Rafael and one sister, Raquel...Also a member of the French club in high school.
