Corinne Fisher joins the Charger’s coaching staff following a decorated four-year career as a women’s lacrosse player at New Haven.
The 2016 Northeast-10 Conference Midfielder of the Year and IWLCA Division II Co-Midfielder of the Year, Fisher was a three-year starter for the Chargers and wrapped up her career amongst the program leaders in many categories. Fisher ended her career in the top ten in total points, goals, assists, ground balls, draw controls and caused turnovers. Her 146 career points, 109 goals and 37 assists rank tenth in each category. Fisher graduated seventh all-time in ground balls, draw controls and caused turnovers, finishing with 134, 147 and 76, respectively.
A three-time All-Conference Team honoree, Fisher was also named thrice named to the IWLCA All-North Region Team, participated in the IWLCA North-South All-Star Game and named New England Lacrosse Journal Division II Player of the Year. In a 15-11 victory over Saint Anselm (4/23/16), the senior captain recorded her most points in a game (eight) with five goals and three assists as the Chargers qualified for the NCAA Division II tournament for the third consecutive season.
Fisher graduated with a degree in Business Management.
A Jackson, N.J. native, Fisher is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Business Administration.
