    Head Women's Lacrosse Coach
de'Shea Foster served as the first head women's lacrosse coach in program history from the 2001 to 2003 seasons.

Prior to her arrival at New Haven, Foster was the defensive specialist and assistant coach at Connecticut College from 1997-2000. During her tenure, the Camels appeared in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference semifinals in 1998 and 1999 and captured the 2000 ECAC Championship. She was named an Academic All-American at the University of Rochester.

Foster was Level II Coaching Certified by the U.S. Field Hockey Association and an Under-13 and Under-15 National Team Selector for the state of Connecticut. Foster also sat on the Women's Lacrosse Northern Regional Advisory Committee for the IWLCA. While coaching, she remained active as a player on the West Chester women's club team.
