2024: Named to the Northeast-10 All-Defensive Team for the second straight season … Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team … Earned Academic Distinction (Fall 2023) and Academic Honors (Spring 2024) accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll and named to the New Haven Dean’s List following the fall semester … The only player to play in all 42 games, starting all as the everyday centerfielder … Holds the top spot in the Chargers batting order, finishing the season with 28 hits, including a team-high 10 extra base knocks … Drove in 12 runs, second most on the team and led the Chargers with 18 walks, while scoring 20 runs … Also led New Haven with 19 stolen bases, which came on 23 total attempts… Finished second on the team with 119 putouts and finished the year with a .984 fielding percentage … Hit safely in 19 games, including a career-high four hits against D’Youville (Mar. 15) … Finished that same game with an RBI and two runs scored … Drove in a career-high three runs in the second game of a doubleheader against Post (Apr. 17) … Finished that doubleheader going 4-of-6 at the plate with a pair of triples, one in each game, and a home run which came in the opening game of the day … her six doubles, second most on the team, came in six different games … added her third triple as part of two hits against Caldwell (Mar. 20) … Finished a pair of fames with multiple stolen bases, including matching her career high as she went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts against D’Youville (Mar. 11) … Also finished with a pair of swiped bases on the road at Pace (Apr. 19).

2023: Racked up a hat trick of postseason accolades from the Northeast-10 with a spot on the All-Conference Third Team, the All-Defensive Team and the All-Rookie squad, the lone Charger to earn postseason honors … The only player on the roster to play in all 47 games, starting all of them … Led the team with a .325 batting average, scattering a team-high 49 hits across 151 at bats out of the leadoff position in the lineup … Also led the team with 20 walks and in stolen bases where she was 26-of-28 with her 26 swipes the second most in the Northeast-10 and tied for the third most in a single season at UNH … Second on the team with 13 extra base hits, which included 10 doubles, a pair of triple and one home run … Knocked in 13 runs and scored 26 times … Hit safely in a team-best 31 games, which included 14 games with multiple hits, setting a season-high with three hits and matching that three additional times … Opened up her collegiate career going 2-for-3 at the plate and swiping three bases in the season opener against Chowan (Feb. 24) … Her first three-hit outing came in the midst of an eight-game hit streak in the middle of the season, as she set her career-high for the first time against Assumption (Mar. 26) … Overall in that eight-game streak, she finished 14-of-30 at the plate … Her first collegiate home run also came during that hit streak, part of a two-hit outings against Molloy (Mar. 28) … Matched her season-high of three hits on back-to-back game days against Staten Island (Apr. 5) and at Le Moyne (Apr. 7) and for the fourth time on the year versus crosstown rival Southern Connecticut (Apr. 14) …  Earned Academic Distinction (Fall 2022) and Academic Honors (Spring 2023) accolades on the Northeast-10 Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Played four years of softball, including one as team captain, with the Mavericks of Archbishop McCarthy High School … Also a member of the bowling team for four years, played two years of soccer and one of volleyball … Finished her career with a .429 batting average with 102 combined hits including 34 doubles, six triples and seven home runs .. Drove in 101 runs during her career … Helped lead the Mavericks to the 2022 5A District Championship … Named to the Miami Herald All-County Second Team and the Sun Sentinel All-County Second team following her senior season … Received All-State First Team Honors, First Team All-County honors from the Miami Herald and Second Team All-County honors from the Sun Sentinel following the 2021 season … Received the Archbishop McCarthy Gold Glove Award following the 2021 and 2022 season … Also received All-County honors from the Miami Herald and the Sun Sentinel as a member of the bowling team.

Personal: Daughter of Andrea Chenet and Robert Desmidt … Mom, Andrea, played varsity soccer at Saint Thomas University … Grandmother’s cousin, Jose Vizcaino, played professional baseball for 18 seasons, retiring in 2006 with the San Francisco Giants … Majoring in exercise science.
