Casey Frobey

Casey Frobey joined the New Haven women’s soccer coaching staff in the spring of 2012 as a graduate assistant coach.

In her first season on Laura Duncan’s staff, Frobey helped guide the Chargers to a record of 11-7-1 – the program’s highest win total since 2007. The club’s eight conference wins and sixth-place finish in the Northeast-10 both represent program bests in five seasons as a member of the NE-10.

Frobey was a two-time All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference honoree at Fairfield University, where she graduated as the program’s all-time leader with 84 starts and co-holder of the Stags’ record with 84 matches played. The 2006 MAAC Rookie of the Year and a two-year team captain at Fairfield, Frobey is also among the Stags’ all-time leaders in career points, goals and game-winning goals.

After graduating from Fairfield in 2010 with a degree in marketing and a minor in management, Frobey played with Asker FK in Norway.

Frobey earned NSCAA All-America laurels as a scholastic athlete at Newtown High School. She was also two-time All-New England and All-State and earned slots on both the Connecticut Post All-Star Team and Danbury News-Times All-Area squad. She led Newtown to a Class LL State Championship in 2004.
