Charlie Branch begins her first season as a member of the women’s soccer coaching staff at New Haven following a successful career at Central Connecticut State University and Monroe College.
In two seasons at CCSU, Branch started 36 of the 38 games in which she appeared, tallying four goals and assisting on three others. As a senior, she was named an All-Northeast Conference First Team performer, tying for fourth on the Blue Devils with six points on the strength of two goals and two assists.
As a junior, the Norwich, England native was named the 2014 NEC Tournament MVP after scoring the game-winning goal in the conference championship game against Fairleigh Dickinson, propelling Central Connecticut to an NCAA Tournament berth.
