Corinne Mazzotta enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the New Haven women’s soccer team.
Mazzotta was a 2009 NEAC First Team All-Conference performer and the NEAC Tournament MVP at Penn State Harrisburg for a season where she scored eight goals and assisted on nine others from her midfield position. She went on to transfer to Penn State University where she walked on to the Nittany Lions soccer team before opting to play for their club program. She also played a season professionally in the Spanish Second Division for Barbada.
As a coach, the Haddam native has spent four season working with SportingCT as the head coach for the U10 and U11 teams. She holds an NSCAA National Diploma with a Distinguished Pass as well ass her NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. Mazzotta also holds a CJSA Class E license.
