Jack Fryer joins the University of New Haven women's tennis team as a gradate assistant coach for the 2019-20 academic year. Fryer brings a wealth of experience to the Chargers, including four years as a student-athlete as well as several years of coaching.
Fryer enjoyed prior coaching experience at the Maidstone Tennis Academy in England, assisting in numerous camps, creating and running tennis-specific drills, as well as coordinating and organizing sport-related skill sessions.
Fryer graduated from Midland University in Nebraska in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in human performance, with a concentration in sports marketing and management. A member of the tennis team at Midland (NAIA), Fryer earned all-conference honors in 2018 at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles. He also was a singles champion at the 2018 Great Plains Athletic Conference Invitational. Prior to Midland, Fryer spent two years as a member of the tennis team at Irvine Valley College in California.
