Nathalia Sato joined the New Haven women’s tennis coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2020 after a successful career at Delta State University, a Division II member of the Gulf South Conference, where she graduated with a degree in business administration and management in May of 2019.

For the past two years, Sato has worked as a College Placement Agent with University Sports Program in Miami, Florida, a college placement agency that works with students and athletes from around the world. In 26 years, USP has placed over 1,700 students in prestigious colleges across the United States.

In four years at Delta State, Sato racked up 49 total wins, 20 of which came in singles play. The native of Tupa, Brazil, Sato capped off her career with a career-high nine singles victories and 13 doubles victories in her senior campaign, including a 2-0 mark at first singles and all 13 doubles victories coming at the first position.
