Emma Foss joined the University of New Haven sports medicine staff as a graduate assistant in August 2019. She comes to New Haven from the University of New England, where she played rugby.
Foss interned as an athletic training student with the Maine Celtics during the 2018-19 season before graduating Suma Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in athletic training in May 2019.
Foss graduated from the University of New Haven with a master's in sport management in May 2021. Foss continued to serve as an assistant athletic trainer at New Haven until she was promoted to Assistant Director of Sports Medicine. In her time at New Haven, Foss has covered several teams, including baseball, field hockey, volleyball, women's basketball, men's soccer, softball, and women's lacrosse.Â
Foss is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and holds certifications in CPR/BLS, Mental Health First Aid, and Essential Graston Technique.
