Chargers Upended by Falcons, 1-8

WALTHAM, Mass. - The University of New Haven women's tennis team dropped a Northeast-10 Conference match, 1-8, to Bentley University Monday afternoon. With the loss, the Chargers dropped to 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference, while the Falcons stayed undefeated at 5-0 overall and 5-0 in conference play.

The Chargers only point came in No. 1 doubles where Eva Rybka (Berlin, Conn./Berlin) and Lindsey Conley (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury ) defeated Rachael Litton and Paulina Sotomayor 9-7. Rybka in No. 1 singles and Samantha Nigri (Carmel, N.Y./Carmel) in No. 2 singles each earned four sets in singles competition.
