Lindsey Conley (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury ) led the Chargers with two wins in the match.
Conley won her No. 1 doubles match with
Eva Rybka (Berlin, Conn./Berlin) 8-0 over Manon Janin and Martine Turgeon. She followed with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep of Jasmine Byrd in No. 3 singles. Freshman
Samantha Nigri (Carmel, N.Y./Carmel) was on her way to a 2-0 afternoon as well, but he No. 2 singles match was halted and the Chargers had already sealed the victory. Nigri paired with
Martha Petzoldt (Westfield, Vt./North Country Union) in No. 2 doubles and earned an 8-1 victory over Byrd and Edna Olowo.
Nan Sirihorachai (Plainsboro, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro North) also won in her No. 4 singles match, while No. 5 and No. 6 singles were all forfeit wins for UNH. The Yellow Jackets were also forced to forfeit the No. 3 doubles match.
