WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven men's soccer team was edged by the visiting Le Moyne Dolphins in a 1-0 contest on Kayo Field on Wednesday afternoon. The Chargers fall to 2-8-0 overall with a 1-5-0 Northeast-10 record, while the Dolphins improve to 7-3-0 on the season with a 4-3-0 conference mark.
James Pyatsky (Stewart Manor, N.Y./Garden City) recorded a season-high 10 saves in the effort, including his second saved penalty kick in as many matches.
The lone goal came in the 19th minute as Le Moyne's Gino Corasaniti took a cross from Fabian Egger and buried his second marker of the fall.Â

Andres Torres (MedellÃn, Colombia/Norwalk (Conn.) / Adelphi University) led the New Haven with two shots on goal, while
Alain Laurent (Attleboro, Mass./Attleboro) added one of his own. However, all three tries were stopped by Dolphins' goalkeeper Ben Beaury, who posted his fifth shutout of 2014.
