PHILADELPHIA – The University of New Haven men's soccer team was on the short end of a 2-0 decision on Sunday afternoon at Holy Family. With the loss, the Chargers fall to 0-2-0 on the young season.

The host Tigers improved to 1-1-0, fueled by goals from Keith Crews in the 25th minute and Aiah Mbriwa in the 48th. Justin Hitwine assisted on both Holy Family markers.

James Pyatsky (Stewart Manor, N.Y./Garden City) made three saves for the Blue and Gold, while
Colin McFarlane (Suffield, Conn./Suffield) moved up from the back row to put two shots on goal.

New Haven outshot the Tigers, 11-10, but Holy Family goalkeeper Richard Ongaro turned away all five shots on goal to preserve the clean sheet.
