WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Micah Wormack (Cumberland, Md./Allegany) scored a career-high 13 points, but the University of New Haven women's basketball team fell to the Adelphi Panthers 67-51 in a Northeast-10 Conference game on Tuesday night. New Haven is now 1-4 on the season with a 1-2 mark in the NE-10.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- In addition to Wormack's point total, she also had six rebounds and three blocks. She also hit the first two three-pointers in her career.
- Alexandria Kerr (Montclair, N.J./Montclair) led New Haven with 15 points and added two steals.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Quana Smith (Bronx, N.Y./Harry S. Truman) and Sade King (Mount Vernon, N.Y./Mount Vernon / Hampton University) each had three assists for the Chargers.
- Â Â Â Â Â Â Katia Oge (New City, N.Y./Immaculate Heart Academy) had a block, extending her streak to 13 straight games with a rejection.
- Â Â Â Â Â The Blue and Gold hit five treys for the fourth straight game including two from Shannon Corridon (Alexandria, Va./Bishop Ireton).
- Â Â Â Â Â Â The Chargers blocked five shots for the third time this year. Â
