With the win, New Haven is now 14-16 overall on the season and is 7-8 in NE-10 play.

Key Players:

How it Happened:
--Scoreless into the fourth, the Chargers broke through with four runs. Keying in the inning were RBI singles from Jack Zagaja (Merrick, N.Y./St. Dominic) and PJ Contreras (Hauppauge, N.Y./Hauppauge) and a two-run hit down the line by Grzenda.
--The Hawks cut the lead in half with two runs in the seventh inning.
--New Haven got an insurance run in the eighth inning as Nick Russo (Shirley, N.Y./William Floyd) was hit by a pitch and Nick Perrelli (North Branford, Conn./North Branford) walked in front of Petrillo who singled through the right side to score Russo.
