WEST HAVEN, Conn. – After a 7-0 shutout win over American International on Sunday, New Haven women's tennis will travel to New York for a meeting with Adelphi on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 3:30 p.m. New Haven sits at 3-2 on the season and in Northeast-10 Conference play.
SCOUTING THE CHARGERS (3-2, 3-2 NE10)
After falling to Stonehill to open the season, the Blue and Gold have won three of their last four, which includes a pair of sweeps over Saint Michael's and American International.
Freshmen
Alexa Orlando (Frederick, Md./Middletown) and
Kacie Banks (Marietta, Ga./Marietta) have stolen the show for the Chargers this season, coming into Wednesday with equal 4-1 records in singles competitions. Orlando, Banks and junior
Lilia Rodriguez (Bayamon, Puerto Rico/Colegio Marista) all hold 4-1 records in doubles competitions on the year.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS (3-1, 3-0 NE10)
Adelphi comes into Wednesday's matchup with the New Haven looking for their 16th win in 17 meetings with the Chargers and their 13th consecutive victory, with the last loss coming on Sept. 27, 2005.
The Panthers have conceded just one loss thus far, coming at the hands of Concordia College on Sept. 19. Their three wins on the year have come by way of a 7-0 sweep of Saint Michael's to open the season, and a pair of 5-2 wins over Franklin Pierce and Southern New Hampshire.

The Chargers will head up to Manchester, N.H. Saturday when they take on the Saint Anselm Hawks at 12:00 p.m.
