WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Power forward Josh Guddemi '16 will continue his playing career, rejoining his former Derby Trailblazers team in the United Kingdom. Guddemi most recently played in the Italian fourth tier and Germany's fourth division where he averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds-per-game.
Overall, Guddemi is one of three Chargers who recently announced the continuation of their careers, joining Eric Anderson (Newark, N.J./Newark Tech) '15 who will join FC Porto and Kessly Felizor (Hightstown, N.J./Hightstown) '20 who will begin his professional career in Spain.
A native of Nottingham, England, Guddemi averaged 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in his senior campaign. Overall, he finished 10 games scoring in double figures including a career-high 16 points in the regular season finale against Le Moyne.
