How it Happened

The Dolphins scored two goals in a two minute span in the middle of the first half of the game.
To retaliate the sophomore midfielder, Charlie Griffiths (Guilford, Conn./Guilford), earned her first collegiate goal since her freshmen season was eliminated due to the CoVID pandemic. Her kick in the 40th minute put the Chargers on the board 2-1 before heading into the half.
After the break, Le Moyne fronted three goals securing their 5-1 lead as the final buzzer went off.
The Blue and Gold tallied seven shots in the duration of 90 minutes, two less than their opponent. Griffiths and Madison Blonde (Rockland, Mass./Rockland) totaled five shots combined, and the two bench shots came from Vickie Fleming (Burlington, Conn./Lewis Mills).
