SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The New Haven women's tennis team dropped a 4-0 to Le Moyne Sunday night. The Chargers fall to 3-4 on the year and 3-3 in Northeast-10 conference play.
The lone victory for the Blue and Gold came from the No. 1 doubles pairing of graduate student Lilia Rodriguez (Bayamon, Puerto Rico/Colegio Marista) and freshman Karim Carreras (Asuncion, Paraguay/Colegio Bautista de Villa Morra) who earned a 6-4 win over their opponents. Le Moyne would win the No. 2 and No. 3 bouts to earn the doubles point for the match.
In singles play, the Dolphins would take the No. 1, No. 3, and No. 4 contests, with the final three games being halted after Le Moyne clinched the deciding point.
