SCOUTING THE CHARGERS (3-5, 3-4 NE10)
The Blue and Gold will enter the weekend looking to snap a three-game losing streak, most recently falling to Adelphi on Wednesday. Junior Kacie Banks (Marietta, Ga./Marietta) leads the team in solo play this season with five wins on the year, followed by graduate Ivana Andric (Griesheim, Germany) with four wins and a trio of players with three wins each. In the doubles rounds, Karim Carreras (Asuncion, Paraguay/Colegio Bautista de Villa Morra) and Lilia Rodriguez (Bayamon, Puerto Rico/Colegio Marista) make up one of two pairings for New Haven that have three victories each on the year, with freshman Olivia Martinelli (Coral Springs, Fla./Broward Virtual School) and junior Alexa Orlando (Frederick, Md./Middletown) being the others
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS (3-6, 3-6Â NE10)
Looking to snap a three-game skid of their own, Assumption comes into Sunday following a 7-0 loss at Southern New Hampshire in the midweek. They Greyhounds were swept in the doubles round, with two players forcing three-sets in singles play, including Aimee Figgins and Yana Semerly.
SCOUTING THE LIONS
Molloy comes into the match looking for just its second win, in this, the fifth contest of the year. Julie Riedel and Alyssa Baur have earned the only victories for the Lions in single play this season, with Riedel and Hannah Niggemeier providing the lone singles victory for the team.
ANDRIC MAKES HISTORY AT ITA's
One of the top players for the Chargers, Andric was one of five players to compete at the ITA regionals in Queens, N.Y earlier this season, becoming the first player in program history to make it to the semi-final round of the annual tournament.
ANDRIC NAMED PROGRAMS FIRST ACADEMIC ALL-AMERICA
Following the conclusion of the 2020-21 academic year, graduate Ivana Andric (Griesheim, Germany) was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team accolades in the at-large division.
