WEST HAVEN, Conn. – University of New Haven alum Kessly Felizor '20 will continue his professional basketball career as he has inked a deal to play in the Spanish Basketball League LEB Silver, joining Zornotza Saskibaloi Taleda.
Felizor's most recent stop on the international basketball scene came with Cantbasket in the Liga Endesa where he averaged 12.7 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game, 1.2 assists per game and 1.4 steals per game in 25games played last season.
With the Chargers, Felizor was the 36th player in program history to join the 1,000-point club and finished his career as the 18th player at New Haven to combine that feat with the 500 rebound club. Overall for his career, he collected 1,135 points, rounding out his time in West Haven 18th all-time in the scoring column.
He also closed out his four-years with the Blue and Gold fifth in school history in field goal percentage, connecting on 54.9 percent of his attempts (400-of-729) and capped off his career seventh all-time in program history with 922 rebounds.
