Southbury, C.T- With good weather on deck for the day, the Chargers headed over to Post University to take on the regional opponent, taking home a 4-3 win on the afternoon.
The Chargers unfortunately lost the doubles point, with a notable second doubles match for Alyssa Rodriguez (Tampa, Fla./HB Plant) and Lucia Placidi (Melbourne, Australia/Distance Education Centre Victoria) winning their match 7 to 5, but the Eagles would take two out of three matches to win the doubles point.
Going into the singles matches trailing, the Chargers found their momentum and worked their way back, winning four out of the six singles matches. The best match of the day coming from Alexa Orlando (Frederick, Md./Middletown) with a three-round match against her opponent, coming up with the win. Madi Mabrito (Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas/Samuel V. Champion), Kacie Banks (Marietta, Ga./Marietta), and Valentinna Ferrarini (Caxias do Sul, Brazil) all taking home wins in their matches as well.
