MANSFIELD, Mass. –
As post-semester academic honors continue to pour in, the University of New Haven Department of Athletics had 21 senior student-athletes honored with the Northeast-10's Presidents' Award of Excellence, part of 252 total student-athletes honored by the league.

To be eligible for the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence, a student-athlete must meet the following criteria: must be a graduating Northeast-10 student-athlete, must attain the Latin honor of Magna Cum Laude or better and must have participated in at least two seasons of NE10 competition and is a current student-athlete at the time of graduation. Each recipient receives a commemorative NE10 medallion honoring their academic achievements.

"We are thrilled to recognize this class of recipients for the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence," said NE10 Commissioner Julie Ruppert. "This is the third year of the Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence and the incredible commitment our honorees exhibit in their academic pursuits continues to amaze me.
