WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The University of New Haven Department of Athletics is accepting nominations for the Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The Class of 2025 will be inducted this coming fall. While nominations are available year-round, to be considered for New Haven's 37th Hall of Fame class, a nomination must be received by February 14, 2025.

Nominations can be made online at www.NewHavenChargers.com/HallOfFameNomination. To be considered, student-athlete nominees must be at least five years removed from competition, which makes those who exhausted eligibility during the 2018-19 academic year eligible this year. Once nominated, an individual remains on the ballot for five calendar years. 

The New Haven Athletics Hall of Fame honors the best student-athletes, coaches, administrators and athletic boosters in school history. These former Chargers represented New Haven at the top of their chosen sports with class, dignity and exceptional athletic skill. As of the most recent induction ceremony (October 2022), there are 191 individuals and one team inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame.
