WASHINGTON, D.C. – New Haven Women's Soccer headed to the Capital to face the Howard Bison on Thursday night, where it lost 1-0.

The Bison scored early in the 15^th minute of the first half, with a total of 16 shots. The Chargers could not respond but took a total of 11 shots in the match. Grace Simpson (Norwalk, Conn./Brien McMahon), Caroline Ennis (Hamden, Conn./Hamden), Lola Wood (Auckland, New Zealand/Diocesan School), and Esthefany Aguilar (Bogota, Colombia) all had a shot on goal. Caitlin Daley (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) played all 90 minutes in goal and had six saves.

The Chargers are back at home on Thursday, Oct. 23^rd, at 4:00 p.m. for an NEC match against Chicago State University.
