WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Women's Basketball picked up an 87-28 win over Bard College.
Lindsay Hogan's (Bayville, N.Y./Locust Valley) 27-point, 16-rebound double double led the Chargers to victory.
New Haven's 68-34 advantage on the glass was one of the many factors that allowed it to earn the win. The Chargers pulled down more offensive rebounds (35) than the Raptors did total rebounds, allowing them to hold a 29-3 second-chance points edge.
Defensively, New Haven forced 26 turnovers and opened up a 34-2 advantage in points off turnovers. Seven steals from
Aniya McDonald-Perry (Middletown, Conn./Putnam Science Academy) highlighted the Chargers defensive prowess in the contest.
McDonald-Perry's 11 points finished second on the team, behind Hogan's 27.
Addisen Sulikowski (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) was the only other Charger to finish in double figures with 10 and six rebounds.

New Haven will face the Stags of Fairfield University on the road on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Opening tip from Fairfield will come at 11:00 a.m.
