WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Men's Basketball hosted Vermont State University Lyndon on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a 122-51 win.
Kheni Briggs (Kennapolis, N.C./The Burlington School) led the way with 17 points for New Haven.
The Chargers saw seven players finish in double figures for the game, featuring only two starters.
Tristan Burth (Bronx, N.Y./Bridgeport Preparatory School) notched a double-double, scoring 12 and pulling down 11 boards.
Vere Anthony (Queens, N.Y./St. Francis Preparatory School) once again played the role of the team's primary setup man, finishing with a game-high five assists.
Jabri Fitzpatrick (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick),
Teshaun Steele (Worcester, Mass./Darrow School), and
Andre Pasha (Syracuse, N.Y./Syracuse Academy of Science) all finished with four helpers. 32 assists is the Chargers' season-high total.
New Haven's 57.6% (49-85) conversion rate from the field is the team's highest shooting percentage since the campaign began. 77 bench points spread throughout 11 different players is also the highest output of the season.
