WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Men's Basketball hosted Salve Regina University on Tuesday night, easily capturing its fourth win of the season, 78-47.
The teams played a close first few minutes before the Blue & Gold opened up a 10-point lead at halftime, 38-28.
Jabri Fitzpatrick (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) led the Chargers in the opening 20 minutes with eight points while he and
Andre Pasha (Syracuse, N.Y./Syracuse Academy of Science) each pulled down five rebounds, again leading the team.
Fitzpatrick finished with a team-high 14 and Pasha also continued to lead the way on the glass, collecting nine rebounds.
Stefano Faloppa (Portogruaro, Italy/Holy Cross Prep) finished with 12 points on a perfect night shooting, making all five shots he took, including one from behind the arc and one from the charity stripe.
New Haven returns to action on Sunday, Nov. 30, at home against Mitchell College. Tipoff between the Chargers and Mariners is set for 1:00 p.m.
