DURHAM, N.H. – New Haven Women's Basketball headed to the University of New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon, suffering a loss to the Wildcats 64-59.
New Haven started out strong in the first half, leading after the first 20 minutes 28-26. But New Hampshire was able to outscore the Chargers in the third quarter, 22-17, allowing the Wildcats to take the lead in the second half.
Addisen Sulikowski (Saco, ME/Thornton Academy) led the Chargers with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Aniya McDonald-Perry (Middletown, Conn./Putnam Science Academy),
Schuyler Coles (Harrisburg, Pa./Susquehanna Township), and
Merit Innocent (Delta State, Nigeria/Busche Academy) contributed 10 points apiece.
New Haven scored more fast break points, 6-2, but each team scored 11 points off turnovers. The Wildcats outscored the Chargers in bench points 30-8.
"We played a solid game against a good New Hampshire team. We need to hit inside shots down the stretch and be better at the five-minute mark. We have been battle tested in our non-conference schedule as we begin our conference play," New Haven Women's Basketball Head Coach

New Haven will open NEC play on Friday January 2
nd at home against Stonehill College. Opening tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
