Boca Raton, Fla.-   University of New Haven baseball team drops opening game down in Florida of the score 8-1 to Lynn University. Bringing their regular season record to 2-3.
 
Nick Ungania (Mineola, N.Y./Chaminade) opens the hitting column up in the fourth inning to break up Lynn's pitcher no hitter with a double to right center. Starting pitcher Vincent Fusco (Fishkill, N.Y./John Jay East Fishkill) went two inning and had two strikeouts. Followed by Mathew Minio who relieved Fusco went to pitch 2.2 of relief. Minio registers one strikeout. Up next out of the bullpen was Robert Synodi (Hebron, C.T./RHAM) who went 1.1 and registered a strikeout.
 
The Chargers did not see their first run until the top of the nineth inning as Jake Russo (Yaphank, N.Y./Bellport) singled to left center scoring Cole Maucere (West Babylon, N.Y./West Babylon)
 
Up next for the Chargers is their second game of four down Florida playing Bentley University Saturday at 2:30pm
