Hanover, N.H. -- New Haven Men's Soccer visited Dartmouth on Friday night, with the game ending in a 1-1 draw. Guilherme Meira (Alfredo Chaves, Brazil/Clotilde Rato) scored for the Blue & Gold in the 27th minute, his first collegiate goal.

Dartmouth jumped out to a 1-0 lead after Vasilas Moiras converted on a penalty kick in the 20th minute. 

Alessandro Bizzini (Imola Bologna, Italy/Liceo Scientifico Valeriani) started his first game in net for the Chargers and stopped four out of five shots on target he faced. New Haven fired six shots at the Big Green net, five of which were denied by Konstantinos Dellas. 

The Blue & Gold continue their season-opening road trip in Syracuse, N.Y. to take on the Orange on Monday, Sept. 8. Kickoff is slated for 7:05 p.m.
