SMITHFIELD, R.I. – New Haven Field Hockey traveled to the Ocean State for a matchup with the Bryant University Bulldogs on Friday afternoon. Due to inclement weather, the game ended after the third quarter with the Chargers on the wrong end of a 6-0 final.

Eliza Caven (Caledon, Ontario/Humberview Secondary) registered New Haven's first defensive save of the season. Cara Lambert (Sutton, Mass./Sutton Memorial) and Anne Marie Martin (Louisville, Ky.) combined for six saves.

The Blue & Gold's next game is on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at University at Albany at 2:00 p.m.
