Henao's Goal A Bright Spot in 3-1 Loss to Stonehill

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – New Haven Women's Soccer took a 3-1 loss at home on Thursday night. All four of the match's goals were scored in a 15-minute span in the second half.

New Haven finished with a season-high eight shots on net. Senior goalkeeper Caitlin Daley (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) finished with eight saves on the night.

Antonia Henao (Caldas, Colombia/Aspaen Los Cerezos) scored her first goal of the season three minutes after the Blue & Gold fell behind 2-0. Henao's goal cut the lead in half and was set up by Janayah Body (West Hartford, Conn./Lawrence Academy).

The Chargers are back on the pitch on Sunday, Sept. 21, in Teaneck, N.J. to visit the FDU Knights. Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m.
