Rae Kline (Brookline, N.H./Hollis Brookline) turned away nine shots in the Chargers' 7-1 loss.
Erin Smith's (Warrington, Pa./Central Bucks South) goal in the second quarter got the Chargers on the board, making it a 4-1 game.
Eliza Caven's (Caledon, Ontario/Humberview Secondary) shot from far out was redirected by Smith into the net, giving Caven an assist.
New Haven returns to the field on Friday, Sept. 26 to visit the Broncos of Rider University. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
