HAMDEN, Conn. – New Haven Men's Soccer was hit with its first loss of the season on Tuesday afternoon, a 3-0 final at Quinnipiac University.
The Bobcats opened the scoring in the 29th minute before striking again seconds before halftime.
A third goal came in the 70th minute, extending the Quinnipiac lead to 3-0.
Alessandro Bizzini (Imola Bologna, Italy/Liceo Scientifico Valeriani) made one save in the match.
Daniel Ehlin (Kalmar, Sweden/Stagneliusskolan),
Ryan Kipness (Stamford, Conn./Westhill),
Tommaso Illario (Valenza, Italy/Istituto Cellini), and
Theodor Steneby (Stockholm, Sweden/Tibble Gymnasium Campus Täby) all fired a shot on goal in the loss.
The Chargers are back on the pitch on Sunday, Sept. 28, at home against the Howard University Bison. Opening kickoff from Kathy Zolad Stadium is slated for 6:00 p.m.
